On a typical Swan River Cruise, depart Fremantle for a leisurely cruise up to Perth to see the breathtaking city lights by night, views of Elizabeth Quay from the water, or the picturesque views of the skyline and tranquil bays during the day. Cruising from Fremantle to Perth takes about 1 1/2 hours, we then like to moor near Mosman Bay or Point Walter while we cook your BBQ and allow you time to enjoy your meal. We then head back to your return point. We can change this itinerary to suit your requirements and can accommodate both small and large groups. There is no better way to see our beautiful Swan River then cruising along in our Lady Grace enjoying the views perhaps with a glass or two of champagne.

Our minimum booking is 4 hours , although we can extend your cruise.

  • When booking we will confirm charter start/finish times and departure points. You can choose from the following locations:

    • East Street Jetty , East Street, Fremantle (plenty of parking, about 500m from the Left Bank Hotel)

    • Sardine Jetty, Mews Road Fremantle (plenty of parking, about 500m from Little Creatures)

    • Barrack Street Jetty , Elizabeth Quay (surcharges apply)

  • FOOD

    We can arrange food catering for you or you can BYO food. If you bring your own BBQ food, our crew will cook it for you.

    We have a commercial BBQ onboard and will supply everything you need to cook and serve your BBQ Food. Once cooked all food will be placed on the main table buffet style. All you need to bring along is your paper plates, napkins, cutlery.

    If bringing cold platters, just hand them to our crew when boarding.

    You can also arrange to bring your caterers onboard. You will need to provide your caterers contact details so we can touch base with them before the event (please note: no oven on board).

    DRINKS

    Drinks & ice are BYO (talk to us about the delivery options we have available). Eskies, ice & glasses are supplied.

    You can either bring your drinks with you when boarding or if you would like to arrange for drinks to be delivered by your own supplier, they can deliver them 15 mins before your charter departs (make sure they deliver cold drinks with ice)

    • Commercial BBQ with bbq utensils, serving food trays, oil, alfoil and our cook

    • Complimentary tea/coffee - please order from our crew

    • Removal of all rubbish and bin bags

    • All toiletries for the toilet

    • Dishwashing liquid, tea towels however our crew will do the washing up

    • Large iceboxes for your drinks

    • Customise large platter icebox with ice

    • Fridge, freezer, microwave, (no oven)

    • Serving spoons, platters, bowls etc

    • Free loading of your drinks and food 15 minutes prior to start time

    • If ordering our catering, all plates, napkins, cutlery, acrylic wine and champagne glasses, if your bringing your food but would like us to arrange there is a $50 fee. Please request when booking.

    • Additional sup board hire available (enquire at time of booking)

    • Music - iPod, iphone, mp3 player. (no need for cords, we have on board)

    • Drinks

    • Ice-recommend 60kg on 4 hour charter

    • Bottled water (we do have desal tap water on boat )

    • Plastic wine glasses, plates, cutlery, napkins if NOT ordering our catering

    • Food—feel free to order our catering or BYO or even choose another caterer

    • Your decorations - please check with us first as we don’t allow some products i.e. sticky tape, confetti, coloured streamers when wet can stain our white boat, no sparklers, no candles, glitter. Flowers, bunting, balloons, table arrangement ok.

  • Included in your charter hire is a 15 minute window before your charter, where our vessel will be at the departure jetty for you. At this time, we suggest any catering, drinks, ice be delivered for our crew to load your drinks and ice into our iceboxes and handle your catering. At this time, the event organiser is welcome to board vessel to decorate if needed. However, the rest of the party will need to wait on the jetty till the departure time. Once the crew and skipper are in place and ready to assist guests, then boarding can begin. If you require additional, set up time, please request when booking as a surcharge will apply.

  • Our charter company has been operating successfully for over 20 years. Safety is paramount on our vessel. We have strict licensing requirements with AMSA, Dept of transport, DPAW, Swan River Trust, Rottnest Island Authority, Liquor and Gaming, ACMA, DPI, and a few other government departments. Our company operates under a AMSA Safety Management sys-tem, which our crew adhere to. Our vessel is inspected annually by Dept of transport and is in survey for 1B, 1C and 1D.

    Our crew have first aid training and are RSA accreditation and will be following RSA guide-lines on charters.

    We will need a completed passenger manifest prior to the vessel departing. The form will be emailed to the organiser with charter paperwork.

    At the start of each charter, our skipper will conduct a safety briefing.

  • On all charters the drinks are BYO but we have a great delivery service for your drinks. The best this is you only pay liquor store prices! When you make a booking with us, we will email you Liquor Barons Melville’s drinks price list, order with Liquor Barons 28 days before your event and they will deliver to the boat COLD drinks 15 minutes before departure. Our crew will meet them and unpack the drinks and load the ice and drinks into our onboard ice boxes. We recommend 50kg of ice for a 4 hour charter. You will need to pay Liquor Barons direct, but we can organise the delivery. Shooters and full bottles of spirits are not allowed, no drinking games etc.

    Our crew RSA trained and will be following RSA guidelines on all charters.

    We are a registered BYO vessel and as such when our clients are chartering our vessel for a private event such as birthday, anniversary, wedding, corporate staff party, hens party, staff Christmas party or

    any celebration where you are supplying alcohol complimentary and are NOT SELLING the alcohol to your guests, then these boat functions are EXEMPT from liquor licensing regulations regardless of

    the duration and number of guests. However, you will need to get a liquor licence if your company is supplying liquor to on board guests that are from another company, supplier or client which is then considered commercial gain and a licence is then required. its only a form to fill out and a small fee to the RGL. We can help if you have any queries.

  • We do not supply wait staff on all our charters, it depends on the catering menu that you have selected in order to receive complimentary wait staff.

    If you would like us to provide waitressing staff, to serve your food and drinks, please request when booking. $30.00 per waitress per hour will be charged.

    However, we do not believe that waitressing staff if necessary if you have chosen the BBQ menu or buffet style menus.

  • All your belongings must be taken off the vessel at the completion of charter. We are not responsible for any of your belongings that you leave on the vessel.

How to book

We just need to know date, time, jetty, approx number of guests, what the function is for. We will then email back to you a charter booking with reference number for your 50% deposit on vessel hire. The Vessel - Lady Grace

    • Huge covered lower deck approx 12 metres x 6 metres with large central teak table, plenty of bench seating and plenty of room for dancing

    • Spacious enclosed upper deck with seating for 16 people, this is the best seat in the house

    • Galley with sink, bench, fridge, freezer, microwave and table for your catering requirements. Equipped with utensils and serving platters, feel free to use ours
